About Me
Ahhh, to be backpacking in Guatemala again. Oh well, graduate school ain’t Lago de Atitlán, but it’s alright.
I’m currently a graduate student in political science at Rice University. My primary interest is policy analysis and policy theory more generally, but lately I’ve expanded into questions of social psychology, particularly implicit attitudes. I’ve spent some time as an adjunct professor at the local community college (HCC, you can see my ratings here at ratemyprofessor.com, no chili peppers though). Love teaching, almost as much as research. I like the idea of having the skills to independently answer questions that interest me (most of which, surprise, have to do with politics) and then share what I know.
In previous lives I worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, in the Senate, and spent some time recording truly awful punk rock. I helped found a group called the Young Government Leaders (YGL) while working in DC.
